Telling Stories of the Mountains

Really honored to have been a part of the promotion and exhibition design for the The Asheville Museum of History's exhibition The Photography of Andrea Clark: Remembering Asheville’s East End Community. Clark’s photos are an important record of the landscape, people, and buildings that once made up the now lost African American community of the East End.

Hoopers Creek Stone has been producing stone products since the 1800’s. Today it primarily focuses on architectural and landscape stone for builders, architects, contractors, and homeowners. The new identity and website help reinvigorate the brand and position it as the premier stone quarry and supplier in Western North Carolina. Videography work by Reggie Tidwell.

Working through the Henderson County Partnership for Economic Development, this infographic for NCEDA uses custom-created icons and illustrations to help explain how a bill becomes a law in North Carolina. It covers the roles of the Governor, Senate and House, and shares tips on how citizens can advocate for a bill of their own.

Chocolate Is Our Love Language

You can almost smell the wonderful scents of chocolate as you view this updated site design. Started way back in 1986, The Chocolate Fetish has been handcrafting the most magnificent chocolates in its downtown Asheville location. The revised site includes a new frontend look and updated Wordpress backend functionality, including ecommerce.

Summer Is Calling

Camp Mondamin is a 100+ year old camp for boys, situated on the picturesque shores of Lake Summit near Tuxedo, North Carolina. The camp had this existing logotype (based on their original logo from 1923) but also wanted to have a representative visual mark. 828:design worked to integrate the logotype into this lake scene, accentuated by a discreet canoe paddle, symbolizing the spirit of the camp through one of its original recreational activities.
